Narealize ko ang Hirap na pinagdaanan ni Jesus Christ ng Akuin nya lahat ng mga Kasalanan natin hanggang sa umabot pa sa puntong ipinako siya sa Krus at mamatay para lang mawala lahat ng Kasalanan natin, naramdaman ko yung sakit na yun pero walang wala pa to Kumpara sa naramdamang sakit ni Jesus Christ. Kasi natanong ko sa sarili ko "Bakit ko Kailangang Humingi ng Tawad at Akuin ang isang Kasalanan na Hindi ko naman ginawa?" Biruin nyo may Sagot ako agad, nang Maitanong ko yan sa Sarili ko dito pinarealize sakin lahat Jesus Christ lahat lahat ng mga ginagawa niya para satin. Aminado ako hindi ako nag-babasa ng Bible, pero biglang pumasok lahat sa isip ko yung mga Sacrifices ni Jesus Christ para satin. Isa lamang akong Simpleng Mamamayan na naninirahan sa isang Simpleng Bayan, pero dito ko napatunayan na meron talagang Tao sa Taas na nakamasid sa lahat ng ginagawa natin sa Ikakabuti man ng ating Kapwa o sa Ikakasama at Ikakapahamak nating Lahat. Marahil napapaisip ang marami sa inyo kung ano ba tong Isinulat/Post ko , pero para sakin, isa lang naman itong Simpleng BABALA para sa ating lahat.

"Walang Sikretong Hindi Nabubunyag" at Kailan man hindi Nanalo ang Kasamaan laban sa Kabutihan.

Each of us has made a request of God. Some of us are still waiting for God to move on our behalf. One of the most difficult things to have when you are in need, is patience. We must always exhibit the patience to wait on God to change our situation. By all means, we must also know that God has equipped us to handle some things on our own. The easiest way to know those things which God should handle is quite simple. Those things that are beyond your scope of ability are the things you must entrust to God. That huge financial issue--give it to God. That child you want when the doctor says it is impossible--give it to God. That family member that has walked away from God--give it to him. Patience go hand in hand with your faith. God is able to do anything in your life that needs to be done. Trust in Him and wait on Him to fulfill His word in your life. He is able. When He is done, you will see that it was worth the wait.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9

Our Lady Guadalupe

December 12th Feast of Our Lady Guadalupe

In 1910 Our Lady of Guadalupe was declared Patroness of Latin America, and in 1945 Pope Pius XII declared Her to be the Empress of all the Americas. She appeared to an Indian convert named Juan Diego on December 9, 1531. She left a marvelous portrait of herself on the mantle of Juan Diego. This miraculous image has proved to be ageless, and is kept in theshrine built in her honor, the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

REFLECTION

Today’s gospel is a story about lack of compassion and what this can lead to. Hardness of heart, maybe out of fear or religiosity, deprives others of the right to food. Dogs, who in Jesus’ time, were the most unclean of animals, showed more compassion to the poor man, by soothing his wounds, licking his sores.

The Way of Jesus
Compassion is the way of Jesus, the way of suffering actively with others and trying to do something for them when we can.

If we can wince at the pain of hunger, homelessness, isolation and loneliness, we may do something about them. If the hardships of others really touch us so that we can feel the pain of another, then our feelings to want to help will come into real activity.

We know of the huge inequality of the world. We think of the millions in slave labour, eking out a living to make clothes for the western world. We can be as near and as distant from them as from any of the images on our TV screen.

Human Yearning for Compassion
The hearts of many plead for compassion just as the heart of the poor man yearned for the human touch of food; and the heart of the rich man yearned for mercy in the torment of Hades.

Watching Jesus in the gospel is a way of growing in compassion. He seems to go out naturally to people, and is in our heart knocking to get out, so that we can go with him to those in need. We have the gift of Jesus, not for ourselves, but for others.

‘Who needs my help today?’ was a daily question of St Ignatius Loyola. Isn’t it good to ask that each day and allow the Lord lead us to where we may help another in need?

Lord Jesus may your kingdom come among the poorest of people and places in the world.
